Ewa Michalak Spring Collection Preview

It's been killing me to have these on my laptop and not share them with everybody. I promised myself I'd present the Polish lingerie companies in the order I saw them so I've had these photographs since March. Some of the bras down below you might've already seen - the S Ptyś, S Iwette, and S Lolitka are now available on the Ewa Michalak website. Hopefully, y'all still appreciate my real life (read: untrained) images. Just a little underpinnings fun to kick off the weekend!

Feast your eyes:

Ahhh, the lovely new arrivals! In the back, there's the mint S - Ptyś bra with the red CHP Mak and matching thong immediately after. The pink 3D Lolitka, for straight cup sizes A-DD, is in the middle, with the S Iwette right in front. I'm incredibly happy about these new designs, I love polka dots!!

Ewa Michalak showed me three S-miękki bras, her new sheer style that rounds and centers the breasts. The blue above will be the first to arrive and it's a soft version of a bra already out, the limited edition HP Rokoko. Now, can we all pause and bask in the brilliance of this coordinating brief? Her fun matching pieces do not get half of the attention they deserve. It has two ruffled layers on the bum, how cute is that?!

When took out the second S-m scheduled to debut, the bra in the picture above, I was teased mercilessly. I had whined about beige lingerie for most of our meeting, but the minute I saw this, I yelped. To my credit, I think it's a beautiful bra that just happens to be beige, not an ugh-it's-boring beige bra. It also reminds me of a seashell.

I suspect the Mak has been a strong seller lately. There are now three versions -- the first CHP model, a 3 DM, and one with new lace -- alongside a thong and two different brief options. The red S-m seems to echo those designs, as the color is quite similar to the Mak.

What do you guys think of these new designs? Are you excited as I am to see more colors return to the Ewa Michalak website for Spring?

  1. Oh gosh, I want all of the new SM bras. I'll probably have to pick only one though... hmm...

  4. That beige one is BEAUTIFUL. I too have a grudge against beige bras but I think I really need this one!

  5. I finally received my EM order (6 weeks and a recall of the original package later) and I'm bummed to say that the cups are way too big, to stretchy and too open at the top (in my regular size). I really wanted to be impressed by this brand (you've made it very exciting!) but between the mediocre customer service, the bad shipping and the unsupportive bra fabric, I don't know that I've got it in me to try again. As far as cakes .on a plate go - Empreinte and the Cleo Melissa have it ALL over the EM HP I just received.

    1. Thanks for your comments! I am on the fence about ordering--the sizing seems so complicated and I have doubts about whether I can get the right fit. Plus, return shipping is expensive! I'm sticking with my Masquerade, Cleo and Bravissimo bras for cakes on a plate for now!

Ewa Michalak has her own sizing. Have you checked your EM size in calculator on the website?

    1. I have. And I've also read a lot about how inaccurate that calculator tends to be. I did LOTS of researching before ordering. I don't believe there's enough consistency to make it worth one's while, especially if your boobs aren't full on top. Of course, that's just my perspective. I'm very happy for others who find EM works for them. I'm just glad there are other brands that work well, and relatively consistently for me.

    2. I was very worried about that calculator as well. At first it looked interesting and I thought it might just be accurate, but ultimately I just didn't trust it. I had a feeling if I used it I would end up getting cups that were way too big. Most of what I read in reviews indicates people are disappointed because they're too small, but your you had the opposite problem. I'll be happy with what I have--it took me long enough to find my favorite brands, and I certainly now have many, many bras I love.

  8. While we're on this subject, I may as well ask, has anyone here ever had the EW size calculator work for them? I'm referring to the video they show where you take your measurements in a way that includes leaning over bare chested. If you've done this and had it work out, please do tell!

  9. Such beautiful bras! I want to love EM, I really do but I have found their sizing so inconsistent. I've ordered the same cut of bras in the same size only to have them fit totally differently, in the backs especially. I have two bras that are several inches different in the same size back, which was a custom size so no returns. Sigh! I hope they fix this soon because then I'd definitely love them!
