Video Review: Cleo Rihanna

Ok ladies, be gentle with me. I'm trying my (amateur!) hand at video blogging. As I mention below, lately I've seen other bloggers doing them and they've looked like such a blast. Until yesterday though, I thought I didn't have access to a camera that would work well for this medium. Then, my boyfriend announced he'd be happy to lend me the camera he uses to record his gigs with and I got the hook up. He, very patiently, set up the tripod and taught me how the essentials (like the on/off switch, hehe). Expect more of these in the future, as I loved doing this one. The review below is very raw and totally unedited, as I was ridiculously impatient to put it up:

Here's hoping you liked that, guys! And, of course, a HUGE thank you to Panache Lingerie and Ann Magnin Inc., who graciously sent me the set. This broke blogger is thrilled with her Rihanna!

  1. My only issue with this bra is that they spelled it like the pop singer's name instead of the traditional spelling of Rhianna. It just perpetuates the misspelling... :(

  2. Haha. Running for a train...or a plane. Yay Dr. Seuss! Would you wear a bra at a bar or in a car? Eating green eggs and ham?

  3. Hahaha! Clearly I NEVER run, if I can't even easily imagine what I would run FOR. My mind was an utter blank. If the apt. was on fire, I'd want to put my bra on first, Kate Winslet style.

  4. Right?! When I initially wrote this post, I spelled it the traditional way and when BF saw it, he was like, "Oh, it's not the like the singer?". I think the Rihanna bit just looks weird!

  5. Hehe I love your comments to your boyfriend (presumably) when you go off camera at the end :p But seriously, it didn't suck, it was really good! You're very natural and personable in front of the camera. It would be good to see a bit more of the bra next time - maybe a side view as well so we can see what kind of shape it gives you?

  6. I loved it! You did an amazing job, and now they'll only get easier. :)

  7. I really liked your video review!

The pattern of the Rihanna reminded me of tetris too, haha.

I think that the Cleo Juna is fairly similar to the Rihanna in structure, just plain instead of pattered.

  8. Just discovered your blog while searching desperately for bras that fit my larger bust! I'm really glad I did! This is a great review, you're very likeable :) I just have a question, how tall are you? You look about my size, I just can't tell how tall you are. I'm not trying to be weird! Even though I've never worn a 28 band size, I was told that because that's the measurement of my underbust I should.

  9. Really nice review! I have a Juna and was thinking about this, as the pattern is just adorable. Like a lot of women, I found that for Juna he band runs large and the cups run just slightly small. I'm assuming this fits the same.

  10. [...] and too small in the cups. I was wonderfully surprised at the superior fit of the Piper. Just like my video review of the Cleo Rihanna, I included a show/tell half and a sequel rocking the bra. Check it [...]
